Dr. Henen graduated with a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2004 from Egypt, where he began his career developing a strong foundation in clinical practice. He later moved to Canada to continue working as a veterinarian, expanding his experience in small animal care.
Driven to further refine his skills, Dr. Henen worked in a very busy animal hospital in Florida, USA, where he gained valuable exposure to high-volume and complex cases. He then returned to Edmonton, where he dedicated several years to emergency medicine—first in an emergency hospital and later in a busy specialty referral center, focusing on critical and urgent care cases.
With a passion for helping both pets and the community, Dr. Henen established a small animal clinic in Leduc.
His professional interests include emergency and critical care, complex medical cases, and a wide variety of surgical procedures.
Dr Bassem Bastorous graduated with a degree in veterinary medicine in 1999 from Egypt, where he began his career developing clinical skills through working in Poultry farms before He start working in a reputable pharmaceutical company.
He moved to Canada in 2012 to continue working as a veterinarian, expanding his skills in small animal medicine through working in very busy clinics as he obtained his license in Canada in 2016.
Dr Bastorous worked in very busy clinics and emergency hospital in Lethbridge & Medicine Hat and Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, where he gained Valuable exposure to high volume and complicated cases. He returned to Edmonton and established West Leduc Veterinary Clinic since 2021
